Don's birthday fell on a Monday this year so we celebrated it in phases. He had to do a presentation the following day so we just did a quick dinner at home. We grilled steak and I made him an apple cobbler from the honey crisp apples that I mentioned earlier.
I'm not sure what he wished here but hopefully it comes true.
We celebrated his birthday in style this year. We went to Daytona Beach and stayed in a time share that his mother has. We went down Halloween weekend. It was so nice to just get out of town and relax. Even though it was only a day and a half, we really felt like we had a well needed mini-vacation. Don wanted me to make him crab rangoon for lunch/dinner on Saturday. We also had fruit dipped in chocolate and sparkling cider to celebrate. We don't have tv, so he wanted to watch a football game, watch a movie (Robin Hood the new one), hot tub it, walk the beach, get his hair cut, and of course catch up on some sleep.
Aren't birthday's great!! Thanks Gail for the get away!

Happy Birthday, Don...35 is a great year (well so far...I'm a '75 baby myself). Glad you were able to get away and celebrate in style.
Love you Robin. You two are perfect. Glad you have each other. ;)
Happy birthday Don! I don't know what you wished for either, but I think what you got/did for your birthday will suffice! That sounds fun/yummy/relaxing.
